Board of Directors

It is the responsibility of each Board member to actively promote the success of PMI and the Consulting SIG for the benefit of its members as a whole. As such there six factors for consideration by a director as they fulfill their duty to promote that success. These are:

• the likely consequences of any decision in the long term
• the interests of the CSIG's members
• the need to foster the CSIG’s relationships with vendors, members and others
• the impact of the CSIG’s operations on PMI and the project management community at large
• the desirability of the CSIG maintaining a reputation for high standards of
  business conduct, and the need to act fairly between members of the CSIG.
