Message from the Chair

Two years ago I was fortunate to meet Evgeny Lykov at PMI’s EMEA meeting in Prague. We met again recently during the EMEA meeting in Madrid and he
gave me a personal invitation to come to the meeting in St. Petersburg, Russia,
on September 17-19
of this year. While we talked he allowed me to extend the invitation to the members of the Consulting SIG as a special offer. This international meeting, "Open Doors to Project Management” is being hosted
by the St. Petersburg chapter. The conference will start off with a keynote speech by Greg Balestrero, PMI CEO.

Consulting Members will receive:

  • Complimentary cultural program during the first day with a sightseeing tour of St. Petersburg, a tour to Peterhof, a boat tour on the Gulf of Funland and Neva River, and an evening reception (normal value of this tour is US $297).
  • Free registration to the two-day program conference (normally US $100).
  • Partial reimbursement for the hotel stay if members stay at the hotel that is contracted by the conference.

This will be an exciting opportunity for our European members. For further details, please contact
Evgeny Lykov at project@pmi.spb.ru or visit the chapter web site at www.pmi.spb.ru (click on the "English" button in the upper right corner).
